  • The properties known as La Grange (LG) & La Petite Maison(LPM) are offered for holiday rental subject to confirmation by the owners to the renter.   

  •  

  • To reserve the property, Clients should complete and send the booking form clearly stating the number of adults and children who constitute the booking, together with payment          of the initial, non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total rental price. Following receipt of the booking form and deposit the Owners will send a confirmation email, invoice and              statement. This is the formal acceptance of the booking.

  •  

  •   3.    The balance of the rental amount is payable not less than 6 weeks before the start of the rental period. If payment is not received by the due date, the Owners reserve the right to give notice, in writing, that the reservation is cancelled. The Client will remain liable to pay the balance of the rent unless the owners are able to re-let the property.  Reservations made within 6 weeks of the start of the rental period require full payment at the time of booking.

  •  

  • Any chargeable expenses arising during the rental period (e.g. breakages) should be settled with the Owners before departure. A damage deposit of £350 or £250 is required in final payment and will be, returned to the Client within 7 days of the end of the rental period less any replacement items required.

  •  

  • The Client is strongly advised to arrange a comprehensive travel policy (including cancellation cover) and to have full cover for the party’s personal belongings, public liability etc, since this is not covered by the Owners insurance.

  •  

  • The rental period will commence at 16.00hrs (4.00pm) on the first day and end at 10.00hrs (10.00am) on the last day. The Owners will not be obliged to offer the accommodation before the time stated and the Client will not be entitled to remain in occupation after the time stated.

  •  

  • The number of people occupying the properties and using the facilities, including children, must not exceed the number agreed at the time of booking and or the maximum occupancy (LG-10) & (LPM–6) ,unless the Owners have given prior written permission.

  • This also applies to day visitors, the Owners permission must be given for visitors, before they arrive on site

  •  

  • The Client agrees to be a considerate tenant, to take good care of the property and its contents, and to leave the property in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period.

  •  

  • The Client understands that the use of any equipment on site (e.g. swimming pool) is done so at the clients own risk, and the Client will undertake to oversee the safe use of any such equipment by children.

  •  

  • The Client agrees to ensure that the internet access not be used for the illegal streaming of information of works or objects protected by copyright. author or by a neighbouring right, such as texts, images, photographs, musical works, audiovisual works, software and video games,  under penalty of incurring criminal liability (in accordance with article L. 335-3 of the Code of the intellectual property).

  • (Be aware that a sharing software, when connected to the internet, can        automatically make downloaded files available. If a sharing software has been used to download protected works, it is best to disable it).

  •  

  • Without delay, the Client will report to the Owners any defects to the property or breakdown of equipment / appliances within the property or the grounds. Repair or replacement will take place as soon as possible.

  •  

  • The Owners will not be liable to the Client:

  •  

  • a. for any temporary defect or stoppage in the supply of Public Services to the

  •     property.

  •  

  •            b.for any loss, damage or injury resulting from adverse weather conditions,

  •               riot, war, strike or other matters beyond the control of the Owners.

  •  

  •      c.for any loss, damage or inconvenience caused to or suffered by the Client if

  •         the Property shall be destroyed or substantially damaged before the start of

  •         the rental period and in any such event, the Owners will within seven days of

  •         notification to the Client, refund to the Client all sums previously paid in

  •         respect of the rental period.

  •  

  • Under no circumstances, will the Owners liability to the Client exceed the amount paid to the Owners for the rental period.

  •  

  •  

  • The properties (gites) La Grange & La Petite Maison are holiday homes, each is fully equipped.

  •

  • The rental includes all utilities. Including WiFi

  • Bed linen - duvet covers, duvets, pillow cases, bottom sheets; hand and bath towels are provided. If you are staying for two weeks or more a fresh supply of linen will be provided on a Saturday and we will take the used linen for laundering

  • A welcome pack is included

  •  

  • Directions/sat nav co-ords will be sent upon receipt of final payment.

  •  

  •  

  • Well behaved dogs are welcome. Please bring your own pet bedding. All poop must be scooped. The gardens are fully fenced but you will be responsible for controlling your pet. There are no extra charges for pets.

  • We do not accept cats.

  • Please make sure your Pet Passport(s) is in order. We can recommend a good vet for your return procedures. Guests with dogs are asked to use the vacuum provided to clean up dog hairs before departure.

  •  

  • Cleaning- Clients are asked to leave the property in a clean and tidy manner. The security deposit also covers normal cleaning, but please leaves the gîte in the same condition in which you found it, this includes the cooker/oven and the BBQ any extra heavy-duty cleaning required will be deducted from the security deposit.

  •      Basic cleaning products are provided. Please replace as you use them.

  •  

  • Guests must ensure that all their party are aware that we are on a septic tank           system and only toilet paper must be flushed down the loos. No feminine hygiene products, wipes or similar must be flushed down the toilets as this will block the system.

  • Only use septic tank friendly products - no bleach, biological or anti-bacteria products should be put down the sinks, showers or toilets. The septic tanks rely on bacteria to operate.

  •  

  • In the interest of safety and comfort of future guests Smoking is NOT permitted  inside the gites. 

  •  

  • As part of our 'green' policy all paper, cardboard, glass & plastic are recycled. We will advise you where the relevant recycling points are located.

  •  

  • We have a number of leisure bikes available for guests to use, we ask that you check the bikes before using them. 

  •  

  • We are unable to supply helmets so we would ask that you bring your own helmets.
